Soil Trackifiers

Soil tackifiers are a type of “glue” created specifically for hydroseed and hydromulch. Made from both plant based products and polymeric emulsion blends, soil tackifiers keep the seed, mulch and straw of the hydroseed/mulch mich from blowing or washing away. Soil tackifiers come in several different types including:

PLANT MATERIAL BASED TACKIFIERS:

Guar - a plant based product derived from the ground endosperm of the guar plant, treated with dispersant agents for easy mixing.

Psyllium - is composed of the finely ground muciloid coating of plantago ovata seeds.

Starch - is non-ionic, cold-water soluble granular cornstarch.

    • Liquid Polymers of Methacrylates and Acrylates
    • Copolymers of Sodium Acrylates and Acrylamides
